QUALITY ENGINEERS (CDI – Brussels)

Our client is a European player in the processing of high volume electronic transactions (payment and other transactions).

On industrial level, they design, develop, make produce, install and maintain thousands of terminals and payment applications both in Belgium and internationally.

For their Terminal Operations department (purchase, supply chain, industrialization, quality), they are looking for

2 Quality Assurance Engineers:

Ø  1 M.Sc. or Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer in Electronics

Ø  1 M.Sc. or Industrial Engineer or Civil Engineer in (Electro-)Mechanics

Candidates with limited professional experience will be considered with as much attention as experienced professionals.

Positions are based in Brussels (Evere).

Job Description :

ý  As responsible for quality of group of products, you contribute to the definition of quality criteria, you control and co-ordinate the quality of the payment terminals and their components, for both the existing and the future solutions.

ý  Support both suppliers (parts/components delivery) and sub-contractors (assembling activities) at the production quality level. (suppliers and sub-contractors are located in Belgium, Czech Republic, Hungary, China, Singapore, …)

ý  Define, plan and execute quality tests

ý  Audit the production process and recommend actions to improve the production process

ý  Analyze quality problems with diplomatic touch, propose solutions and make sure that they are solved

ý  Liaise more particularly and co-ordinate with R&D, Marketing, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Industrialization

Required profile :

ý  Civil Engineer in Electronics or in (Electro-)Mechanics

ý  Good knowledge of production processes

ý  Good knowledge of quality standards like ISO 9001, TS16949, PPAP, ETSI, SixSigma, …

ý  Of French or Dutch native tongue and fluent in English (fluent in English, Dutch AND French would be a plus)

ý  For Engineer in Electronics: good knowledge of electric/electronic tension, IC, BGA voiding , MCR chips issues, electronic diagrams, electronic measurement instruments

ý  For Engineer in (Electro-)Mechanics: good knowledge of plastics moulding processes, mechanical tolerance/resistance, motorized card readers, camera technology, …

ý  An experience in electronic or (electro-)mechanic environment including quality management and relationship with sub-contractors would be a plus
