Job tasks :

Co-ordination of procurement, engineering, construction and (factory acceptance) testing of equipment and systems for pipelay vessels. These include thruster systems, diesel engines, high voltage equipment (drives, switchboards and generators), cranes, pipe handling equipment, winches, stinger, stinger handling equipment, etc.); Act as the primary contact for the supplier in consultation with the Procurement and Subcontracting Department; Monitor suppliers so that project objectives are achieved; Judge and approve all project documents; Supervise cost and progress reporting; Supervise preparation of as-built documentation.
Job Requirements :

TH/TU Mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering or Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering with relevant experience as package engineer for the co-ordination of procurement, engineering, construction, testing and commissioning of equipment and systems for (offshore) vessels; 3-5 years of experience in a similar position preferably in the shipbuilding and/or offshore industry; Good knowledge of the Dutch and English languages, both verbal and in writing; Organisational and negotiation skills; Commercial affinity; Hands-on mentality; Excellent knowledge of project administration.
